From a bottle steeped in botanical heritage to a winning foraged cocktail made in London. We helped The Botanist → showcase its cold infuser through a fully integrated digital and on-the-ground brand campaign. Every element was designed to highlight nature, seasonality, and the magic of experimentation.

The idea

Use local ingredients and modern techniques to craft a drink that embodies The Botanist’s philosophy: wild, rare, and layered. With 22 hand-foraged botanicals from the Isle of Islay, The Botanist Gin already had the ingredients. We simply brought the experience to life.

We designed a cocktail programme built around the cold infusion tool launched by The Botanist.

Our hero serve, The Botanist Hunt, took first place at the UK-level competition, showcasing the power of deep flavour, slow process, and wild creativity.

In parallel, we led the digital strategy to build community, engage audiences, and amplify visibility. From social strategy and content creation to paid media and campaign performance, we made sure the right people discovered the brand, and the story stuck.

The cocktail: The Botanist Hunt

→ 50 ml The Botanist Gin infusion
(soy, shiitake, pineapple weed, blueberries)

→ 20 ml Hawthorn, thyme and honey infusion

→ 10 ml Lemon juice

Garnish: Edible flower, micro cress, mushroom jelly

Wild Shiitake Hydration

50g dried shiitake mushrooms
20ml sweet soy sauce
Pinch of salt
230ml distilled boiling water (rested for 8 hours until cold)

Wild Shiitake Jelly

200ml shiitake consommé
10 gelatine leaves (soaked, dissolved, cooled)

Infused Botanist Gin (Pineapple Weed)

30g crushed pineapple weed
700ml The Botanist Gin (cooked 4 hours at 60°C)

Hawthorn Infusion

60g hawthorn
2g thyme leaves
200ml local honey (cooked 2 hours at 70°C)

This project was about respect. Respect for ingredients, for process, and for the idea that great flavour takes time.

The winning cocktail was just the result of doing things properly.
